RPS Young Artists
The Royal Philharmonic Society seeks to create a future for music by encouraging and nurturing the next generation of talented young musicians.
Grants, Scholarships and Prizes
We have funds to assist the purchase of instruments, enable British instrumentalists to study abroad, support outstanding young violinists and organists, and further study opportunities for singers. Composers under 29 can enter the RPS Composition Prize through which four commissions, with guaranteed performance in major UK venues, are offered per year. Meet our current RPS Young Artists.
Mentoring
Getting to the heart of music - The Philip Langridge Mentoring Scheme shares the creative talents of young musicians at the start of their careers with the experience of distinguished professional performers.
RPS Music Awards
The annual RPS Music Awards honour a young musician or ensemble who have made a significant first professional impact during the year in question. View the list of past recipients.
