Susan Bradshaw Composers Fund
The Susan Bradshaw Composers Fund honours the widely respected pianist, teacher and formidably well-informed thinker and writer on music who died in January 2005.
About the Fund
The Susan Bradshaw Composers’ Fund was established by the Royal Philharmonic Society with donations from friends and family, led by composer Brian Elias. The purpose of the fund is to support composers (of any age) and young musicians wishing to perform works by living composers.
What the Fund Does
At present the fund is used to support a commission for one of the winners of the RPS Composition Prize. The fund has supported Cheryl Frances-Hoad (Cheltenham Festival 2008), Sasha Siem (2009), Michael Langemann (2010), Charlotte Bray (2011) and Lauri Supponen (2012).
